Trin·i·dad AHD[trĭnʹĭ-dăd'] D.J.[ˈtrɪnɪˌdæd]K.K.[ˈtrɪnɪˌdæd]NONE（无词性）- An island of Trinidad and Tobago in the Atlantic Ocean off northeast Venezuela. First sighted by Columbus in 1498, it was not settled until the 1570's and was a frequent target for Dutch, French, and British buccaneers.
